Location: Leidschendam, NL

This attic belongs to a pet lover couple. The open and airy layout is centered around a central block that houses a fireplace, built-in display shelves, built-in cabinets and an open staircase surrounded by greenery, which connects the ground floor to the upper level. The architect skillfully integrated playful and functional elements for the pets. A custom cat wall path and staircase allow their cat to climb and explore vertically. For their dogs, a custom bench was designed with an elevated seating area by the window, perfectly matching the dog's favourite spot to look outside.
